Kayaking in Antarctica

Kayaking in Antarctica

Included in Every Trip!

Antarctica is large, big, white, full of wildlife and can be hard to take in.  That’s one of the reason on our trips we spend 14 days in Antarctica – to allow our passengers the time needed to truly take it all in.  Being on smaller vessels – Ocean Tramp and Hans Hansson, we are able to be closer to the action – instead of 5 decks away from the water, we are right there!

To get a different perspective, we offer kayaking – for free – on all voyages.  When the weather is right we get the kayaks out and explore – watching icebergs float by, being surprised by a penguin as it porpoises right next to us, paddling in and out of smaller islands, to discover what is around the corner.  A new perspective helps bring the whole experience together!

We are excited – now that we just purchased Hans Hansson, we have purchased a new mini fleet of kayaks that we will have for the upcoming season!  They fit our smaller operation perfectly – they can convert from 2 passenger to one, allowing a perfect set up for us and our guests!

On Ocean Tramp we have tried and true solid kayaks that our guests have used for some amazing experiences – see below!
