Ocean Tramp arrive back to Ushuaia on December 4th, at midnight exactly! The expedition was a great success, having achieved all of its objectives, and more! Most luckily a new specie of spider has been found -need confirmation after lab test, and several species of spiders which were not identified for the islands have been found. We also had the chance to check up the now growing King penguin colony on the Island. Last year 10 penguins were observed, and now the number has increase to 13, showing that the colony is set and happy again on its original place -the colon y extinguished in the old times due to hunting. On the way back to Ushuaia we had the time to stop at Harberton ranch, where we had the opportunity to visit the Museum Akatushun, guided by its former coordinator Kata -our biologist on board. Now Ocean Tramp is resting at her buoy in Ushuaia, happily waiting for more adventures soon to come!.
