Full Charter our yachts

Charter the full yacht for your own trip

Did you know you can charter the full yacht for your own trip? Whether you are a photographer who wants to put together a small group for your private workshop, a family or a group of friends, or a bunch of friends who want to do a ski expedition or go mountain climbing, you can charter the entire boat, then sit back and relax and let us do everything for you!

How does it work? You contact us, tell us a bit about your project or idea, what yacht you think fits best for your project (we can assist) and we’ll get back to you with a quote. Our quote will include everything you need for your project: you only need to get yourself and your team to Punta Arenas the day before the scheduled flight date. We’ll give a safety briefing the night before the flight, then on the day of the flight we’ll transfer you to the airport, and to Antarctica on our charter flight, where you will join our yacht in King George Island to start your Antarctica expedition.

If you’ve ever wondered, “can you go to Antarctica?”, the answer is yes! And with us, you can do so in a unique, comfortable, and exclusive way. We offer cruises to Antarctica designed to provide you with an unforgettable experience while exploring the white continent on an Antarctica expedition.

What makes this trip unique?

Your own private expedition
  • It`s your own private expedition! You are not a passenger but a real expedition team member!
  • You choose along with our Captain what places to go, and for how long to stay in those places.
  • We will do all the logistics for you. It`s like joining a regular cruise ship as a passenger, just that it`s your own private expedition, not a regular cruise ship.
  • You don`t need to know any place in Antarctica -our Captain will do the planning and take you to the best possible places based in your own interest.

Quality time
  • You fly across the Drake in just 2 hours! -as opposed to wasting 2 to 3 days each way like on a regular cruise ship.
  • 14 day trips in Antarctica (Weather permitting), resulting in more places visited than the traditional cruise and bigger chances of having the perfect lights and weather for photography or whatever your project is.
  • Very long landings -no time limit other than those set by guidelines. (no need to swap with other passengers onboard). You get all the time you need for that perfect shot, or for just sitting and enjoying observing penguins going by their life.
Perfect for photography
  • True Remote feeling, thanks to a very reduced number of guests on shore -only 8 or 12 as opposed to the maximum allowed at most landings, 100. You can get your perfect photos without another 50 red or yellow jackets in the background.
  • Small group means no waiting time to go on the zodiacs for landings and zodiac tours -all guests fit in the zodiac at the same time.
  • Our vessels anchor in small coves for most nights, meaning you get to observe and enjoy how wildlife “go to bed” and to watch the night slowly setting in, while sipping a cup of coffee or tea on deck -the felling of observing wildlife going to be bed is second to none.

Unforgetable experience
  • Since the vessels will anchor close to shore for the night, if conditions are nice, we'll go for a zodiac tour after dinner -perfect for photography! Or at least to take that perfect shot of the sun setting behind an iceberg.
  • When conditions and guidelines allow, we'll do a night landing for astrophotography.
  • We carry kayaks which are free to use anytime when conditions are good -at no extra charge.
  • Direct interaction with the captain and crew. You can express your interest and the Captain/Expedition Leader will take action to accommodate your wishes.
Intimate wildlife encounters
  • Thanks to our extended 14 days long trips, our guests will visit not only the traditional west Antarctica peninsula but also the South Shetlands, including historic sites.
  • Small vessels mean you can watch whales and orcas swimming under the vessel from one side of the boat to the other -we don´t have cabins or structure between one side of the boat and the other, allowing for free transit, so you can really see what the whales are doing under the boat and watch them as they swim by.

Family Style!
  • Our vessels carry a well-stocked onboard library with Antarctica related books on history, wildlife, geography, etc.
  • Family style. Passengers will go home with new friends and feel close to the crew.
  • Not a luxury cruise. No need to pack your tuxedo! You can go around inside the boat in your pijamas!
  • Cost per day in Antarctica similar to larger cruise ships but you are only 8 or 12 guests.

Itinerary

Pre trip: Please arrive at the departure port/city AT LEAST 36 hours prior to your trip start – WHY, if there is any delay by an airline, or your luggage is lost, you will have a chance to make the trip.  Also traveling south is usually a long journey, so it’s nice to have a day + to recuperate before starting on the journey on a lifetime.
The night before the flight to Antarctica there will be a mandatory Safety Briefing where we will explain how the next day will play out. We will also hand you the boots for you to test your size and exchange if necessary. We will also provide vacuums for you to clean your backpacks and pockets, for biosecurity reasons.
