Nautical School Tomy Porco Fischer: How Quixote Expeditions supports young navigators Beagle Waters

“At the Nautical School Tomy Porco Fischer, we teach how to navigate the cold waters of the Beagle Channel. Children aged 9 to 15 spend their summer at the AFASyN Nautical Club learning to sail in Optimist, Pampero, kayak, and SUP on the calm waters of Ushuaia Bay. The support of Quixote Expeditions is essential to carry out daily practice. The cold in these latitudes is a significant factor, and with the recent donation of 30 neoprene suits, they are helping ensure that the youngest generations of Fuegians can continue sailing the icy waters of the Onashagha Channel.”
