Miguel Isla Casares: A life of mushing fueled by passion and the Quixote spirit
My name is Miguel Isla Casares.
Over 20 years ago, I discovered the activity of dog sledding, known as mushing.
After spending 15 years in Argentine Patagonia with my ten dogs, we came to Alaska to experience the mecca of this activity.
From the very beginning of this project — creating the only event related to mushing in Tierra del Fuego — Quixote Expeditions has been the main sponsor of this dream. I met Laura and Fede while working as a cook for the company, and from the start, both sides understood what it takes to make dreams come true.
This season, Quixote Expeditions once again became our main sponsor, allowing us to reach places like the Arctic with our team.
